In the dark of the deep ocean live creatures that could practically come from another world. They are fascinating, beautiful and mysterious. They are so bizarre to us because they've evolved in an environment that is completely different from ours.
With no air and no sunlight, it's almost as though they're living in outer space. In near complete darkness, many generate their own light to scare away predators, capture food, or attract mates. Some have built-in lures that attract prey and teeth that bite and never let go. They may be weird but they are also amazing.
